The Great Summer Scrap-A-Long of 2025!

Scrappy Make-A-Long (MAL) – Summer 2025

Join us for a fun, low-pressure Make-A-Long focused on creativity, community, and using what you’ve got! The Scrappy MAL kicks off on Thursday, July 10, and runs throughout the summer with alternating daytime and evening meetups at Little Red Mitten.

Whether you’re looking to shrink your stash or just love the thrill of working with a rainbow of leftovers, this MAL is for you.

Here’s what’s included:

• A 100g bundle of yarn scraps at each evening session (curated from our studio) That's 400g total!
• A short tip, trick, or technique demo to help with your scrappy project
• Opportunities to swap scraps, wind mini skeins, and trade colours with other makers
• A friendly group atmosphere with lots of encouragement, support, and laughs
• Chances to win prizes for finished objects!

Rules:

• Must be a new project cast on after July 10
• At least 50% of your project must be made with scraps
