If you've been in the store last spring/summer, or even recently, you've probably seen Angie & Gillian wearing one of their many Sungazer tees.
With 5 knit between the two of them, you can bet it is a fun addictive knit! It’s starts in the centre and then 8 panels are created, picking up stitches and using increases for a completely modular and seamless construction.
Join Angie and Gillian on the Saturdays of June 3, 17 & 24 for a SUNGAZER Sweater Tee KAL In-Store! During the KAL they will go over all the skills to construct this awesome sweater: casting on, picking up stitches, m1L & m1R plus some tips and tricks they've learned while knitting theirs. Then there will be time to sit and knit with each other, on your own awesome tee!

YARN
Noro Silk Garden Sock is the recommended yarn for this pattern. You can use any yarn that you can get gauge in—you can probably get gauge in sport, DK, or worsted. To get the colour effect of my version, choose a slow colour changing yarn. You can also use solid colours or scraps from stash and switch yarns for each piece of the sweater. This pattern is great for handspun yarns as well.
NEEDLES AND NOTIONS
US 7 (4.5 mm) knitting needles
US 5 (3.75mm) knitting needles
(the body of the sweater is knit flat, so you can use circular or straight needles, but the sleeves and hem are knit in the round and will require circular needles short enough to knit in the round or long enough to magic loop)
We hope you’ll join us and can’t wait to see what yarns you choose!
The hashtag will be #lrmsungazerkal on the socials.
