Origin:
For over a 100 years ago, Edelweiss was the first plant placed under protection prohibiting people from picking it. The Edelweiss extract used for the Opal wool comes from cultivated plants. The "wool flower" are grown at an altitude of 1,000 meter above sea level, to allow all positive attributes to develop. The "wool flower" in the wild on the other hand, grows at an altitude up to 3,000 meters above sea level and is exposed to a high level of ultraviolet rays and critical climatic conditions. For these reasons, the protective substances developed itself, creating a positive effect for the human at the same time. A proven specialist for self-protection.
Features:
Edelweiss is known for its skin-caring and protective features. Antibacterial and antioxidant effects are attributed to the extract.
Vitamin E is the so-called cell protection vitamin, to which an antioxidant effect is attributed. As an antioxidant, vitamin E is said to protect cells from oxidative destruction by free radicals. Therefore it is often used in anti-aging products.
