Wheel Spinning 101 with Amie

This two part class is for the Complete and Utter Beginners! (as well as those that want to brush up on their skills from days gone by) In this two part beginner class you will learn the fundamental concepts of spinning using a spinning wheel.  Learn about the fibre used in spinning, how to draft, and then how to ply. 

Requirements

  • It is preferred that you have your own wheel however we have three that are available on loan with a $100 returnable deposit.  There will be an additional $40 rental fee required.

Materials are included

  • Class includes a spinning kit with tote bag, 50g of fibre, and reference materials.
  • Reminder: Students receive a 10% discount on most in-store purchases on their class day. We will happily guide you to a great project you will be comfortable with.

 
 Duration & Format

  • 2 x 2 hour sessions (4 hours total)

Additional Information

  • All classes require a minimum of 3 students so invite a friend to come with you!
  • In the event that the minimum is not met, you will receive an email notification 5 days before the class to notify you that the class has been rescheduled/cancelled.
