July's Yarn of the Month

Hot summer days call for cotton and crochet.  

While we have a lot of cotton blend yarns at Little Red Mitten that can be made into garments, this month we are highlighting our 100% cotton offerings that are perfect for crochet enthusiasts – enabling those “quick” makes such as granny squares, bags, toys and washcloths.  

First up is Ricorumi DK Color. It is 100% cotton, which is perfect for making amigurumi, toys and other small items that need a lot of different colours. These adorable miniature balls are only $3 (for 25g, approx. 58 m / 63 yds) and we have around 50 colours to choose from!  In addition, we carry Ricorumi DK Spray in 10 colours to add a bit of speckle to your work and, although not cotton, we have Ricorumi Neon DK for that POP of colour, Ricorumi Lame DK for a little sparkle and Ricorumi Nilli Nilli for that extra touch of chenille softness.  Perfect to bring your imagination to life.
