Although superwash wool is machine washable, for best results I recommend a gentle hand wash in cool water - do not wring out - and lay flat to dry.

Hello and welcome to my little corner of the world, based in Edmonton, Alberta.
My name is Ashley and I am happy to have you here. I am a wife and mom to three children, as well as a beautiful ginger cat. Family is very important to me - always has been, always will be. When I am not dyeing yarn, I like to spend my time knitting/crocheting, playing family games, listening to music and going for walks or bike rides.
I am the person behind everything that happens here at Comfy Cozy Knits. I am the owner, yarn dyer, decision maker, social media content creator, customer service rep, photographer and dish washer. Basically, anything that happens here is done by me - I am a true one woman operation.
I began dyeing yarn in 2017 and worked at it part time until I went on maternity leave with my youngest. Shortly into my leave, I decided to take this business full time and haven't looked back.
My goal with everything in life is to be comfortable. I choose yarn bases that are flexible in nature and I work with colours that bring me joy. The yarn that I bring in is sourced from mills that use cruelty-free practices because I can't in good conscious work with something that brought discomfort to an animal in order to get it. I want the colourways that I create to bring you comfort and joy when you work with them.
