Step into ARNE & CARLOS’ magical garden, one of their biggest sources of inspiration. They are obsessed with flowers and the Primrose Throw was inspired by a very old piece of fabric they saw in a Norwegian mountain farm a few years ago. Primroses are a sure sign of spring; this project is for anyone with plenty of patience and time. The only “rule” is that the same two colours never meet as they are crocheted together. Use your leftover yarns and turn them into a beautiful colourful throw.
What to bring: Leftover yarn in many colours suitable to use with a 3.5mm (US E-4) crochet hook. (For example, a DK weight, 131 yd/120m/50g/1.75oz) We suggest participants bring yarn in 9 colours for this class.
Hooks (not included):
Crochet hook 3.5mm (US E-4)
All classes include coffee/tea/water and written class materials. Class prices do not include yarn or needles. Class descriptions detail yarn and needle requirements for each class. We are offering yarn kits for each class that can be pre-purchased to ensure you have the specified yarn for your chosen class. These will be waiting for you at your class.
Friday and Saturday’s classes will be held at The Little Red Mitten in our 2nd floor classroom. Should you require any special mobility accommodations please let us know in advance and we can work together to find a solution. Sunday’s lecture and afternoon class will be held at the beautifully-renovated CASO Station in St. Thomas.
REGISTRATION: To avoid any discrepancy between online, phone and in-person registrations, registration for the ARNE & CARLOS classes and lecture will be online only.
Tickets: After your online purchase, you will receive an order confirmation by email – this email serves as your ticket. Please bring a printout of this email to your class or lecture. If you do not receive an email confirmation within 24 hours of your purchase, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will resend.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellation requests must be made by email to email@example.com, listing the first and last name the purchase was made under, and the order number. Cancellations will be accepted for full refund until Tuesday October 1st, 2019 at midnight EDT. No cancellations or refunds will be accepted after this date, however you may send a friend in your place by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org with the first and last name the purchase was made under, the order number, and the first and last name of the person who will be attending in your stead.
Waitlist: Once sold out, there will be no waitlist option for the classes and lecture, however after the cancellation deadline has passed we will re-open online registration on Wednesday October 2nd, 2019 at 7pm EDT for any vacated spots.
This is a beginner's class. We can teach all the crochet basics and get the participants started.
