Basket Weaving with Christine Kelly

Join us for a Beginner Natural Reed Basket Making Workshop with Christine Kelly of Old Reed Baskets—no prior experience required! You’ll create a beautiful shelf basket, perfect for storing your precious yarns or keeping your WIPs safe between craft sessions.

Class will take place in store on Sunday October 27th from 12-4pm ( 4 hours total)

"You will learn to weave a natural reed basket starting with forming the base, twining, weaving the sides and lashing the rim to finish. Information will be provided to you on how to add colour or stain to your completed basket or enjoy it in its natural state."

All materials needed for the workshop are provided with enough to make one shelf basket.  Also included is a beautiful handwoven coaster made by Christine, along with a Leo & Roxy hand dyed 20g mini skein of yarn.
