Introducing Little Red Mitten’s HEARTY GIRAFFE WORKSHOP!

We are so excited to help you get started on what we hope will be a lifelong love of creating cute little amigurumi friends! Do you already know how to crochet but want to try out amigurumi? Get some tips and tricks from the wonderful Mara who has crocheted all the Giraffes that you see and admire in the store and many of our other critters. Learn new amigurumi techniques and create your very own adorable Giraffes (and other creatures) with ease, thanks to tips and tricks from our talented crocheting expert, Mara!

PATTERN: Hearty Giraffe by Amigurumi Today (included in cost)

DURATION & FORMAT

  • Two 2 hour in person classes (4 hours total)

REQUIREMENTS:

  • You must know how to crochet; chain, single crochet, increase and decrease.
    *This is NOT a Learn to Crochet class

MATERIALS TO BRING:

  • SOCK yarn*: 70 grams total (50gr body / 10gr limbs / 10 gr contrast) or a sock set with a full skein & 2 minis (you should have enough for two)
  • HOOK: 2mm crochet hook, maybe bring a few sizes to choose from
    *If you would like a heavier weight yarn, you will need more yardage and a larger hook, generally 1 size smaller than whatever the yarn calls for.
  • Scrap yarn or stitch markers
  • Darning needle
  • Scissors
  • Reminder: Students receive a 10% discount on most in-store purchases on their class day. We will happily guide you to a great project you will be comfortable with.

  • Safety eyes
  • Stuffing

**Reminder: You must know how to crochet already. This is NOT a Learn to Crochet class.** 

Additional Information

  • All classes require a minimum of 3 students so invite a friend to come with you!
  • In the event that the minimum is not met, you will receive an email notification 5 days before the class to notify you that the class has been rescheduled/cancelled.
