Double Weave Basics with Linda
Friday, January 24th, 10am-4pm (6 hours)
Learn to warp your loom using two heddles to weave two layers at the same time. These can be two separate layers, two layers joined at one side to produce a fabric twice the width, or two layers joined at both sides to produce a tube (great for weaving bags). Project ideas, pattern for a hanging shuttle holder, and tips for successful double weave included.
Prerequisite: Weaving 101 or comfortable with weaving techniques
Requirements: Loom with double heddle attachment and two 10dpi heddles, 2 colours of 4/8 cotton.
